Soundown Vinyl/foam composite insulation is an effective yet affordable treatment for airborne noise that radiates from engines and other machinery. The composite is designed and manufactured specifically for attenuation of sounds. Made of mass loaded vinyl sandwiched between two layers of polyether fire retardant foam covered by a ripstop Mylar vapor barrier facing. Transmission loss of airborne noise from 5 to 15 dB. in accordance to noise frequency. Size: 54'' x 32'' x 1''.
